The Site
Most of my professional work these days is spent building Drupal sites, so it's only fitting that I should build my own site with Drupal 7.

Themes
The theme is Bartik, which comes with Drupal 7 core.
The Server
This site is hosted by Linode [referral link], a VPS hosting company. I've used more than a dozen hosting companies over the last decade and Linode is the only one I've never had any complaints about. I whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone willing and able to manage their own Linux installation.
I'm using a fairly standard LAMP stack running Ubuntu Server 10.10. There are more high-performance configurations out there, but my modest needs don't necessitate anything more than a basic setup.
The source code for the site is stored in a private Git repository hosted on GitHub.
Outgoing e-mail from the server is sent by Postfix. My actual domain e-mail is handled by Gmail via Google Apps for Domains, which also provides me with Calendar, Docs, and Talk—services I rarely use.
